In this section we would like to clarify the frequently asked questions about the product.

• Does UV light harm the eye?

  YES AND NO! If you expose the open eye to UV light for a longer period of time, for example minutes: yes!
  We only expose to the closed eye for 1-3 seconds. Therefore: no!
  (Sunbeds also have UV light. A tan/pigmentation only starts after about 8 minutes).

• Does the UV lamp have a regulator for the UV light?

  The lamp has no regulator for the intensity of the light. Our aim was to set the eyelash glue quickly in order to eliminate vapours immediately. As soon as the UV light is reduced, the setting time is prolonged and thus the vapourisation time of the glue. We wanted to bring a lamp to the market that is affordable for everyone and any additional (possibly unnecessary) feature would increase the cost of the lamp. Further versions of the lamp with additional features are planned for the future.

• How should the pre-treatment be carried out?

  Please carry out your usual pre-treatment, as far as you have had success with it.

• How do I detach the lashes that have grown out while refilling?

  The lashes that have grown out can be removed as usual with the tweezers.

• How do I remove the extensions completely?

  You can remove the extensions with our gel or our cream remover. 

• Does the system work for customers with allergies?

  You can buy the glue at first. A mini UV light is included with every adhesive. This is a good option to test the UV system on allergy patients in advance. A patch test can be performed before purchasing the complete system.

• What distance should the light be from the eye?

  The light should be adjusted so that the eyelid of the eye is completely captured. It may vary depending on the surrounding light. The average distance is 10-20cm.

• How is the UV light released?

  The UV light can be initiated via the foot pedal.

• Do I have to shake the UV eyelash glue beforehand?

  No, you don't need to shake the glue and can start applying the lashes immediately.

• What is the best way to store the UV eyelash glue? Which adhesive pads should be used?

  As the UV eyelash glue hardens with UV light, the glue must be stored in the dark, cool and dry. This is important because if the bottle is exposed to direct sunlight in particular, the glue may go bad and start to string.
  
  We recommend using the adhesive drop on a matte and non-reflective adhesive base. With the glue stone crystal you run the risk that the glue drop very quickly goes bad and starts to pull threads, because the light reflects on the crystal.
