Why is the lifting result no longer as strong for some customers?
Every eyelash has a hair muscle. If this muscle has never been used, for example with mascara, it is flaccid. With the first lift, we have the opportunity to achieve more lift with such clients, as the flaccid muscle gives way.
We often hear that the lifting result is even stronger the next day. This is because the muscle contracts after the strain of the lift and the eyelashes are now fixed in the direction in which we have lifted them.
When lifting, your hair muscle is activated and begins to grow stronger.
You might think that another lift is no longer necessary. The muscles are now stronger and the lashes should stay in the lifted position. Unfortunately, the strengthening of the muscles is not permanent. Without the necessary effort/stress, the muscles at the base of the eyelashes also slacken. In addition, gravity also causes the direction of eyelash growth to drop.
As an example, let's take two lifting sessions with an S-Pad, 4-6 weeks apart. The S-Pad provides the strongest lift. The muscles on the eyelashes are so strengthened that they no longer give way during the third lifting session and the eyelashes can no longer be lifted as much as during the first two sessions. Although the lashes are curved by the lotions, the roots can no longer be lifted as much.
This does not necessarily mean that you have done something wrong in the application or that your lotions have become weaker. With the S-Pad, you have probably strengthened the muscles so much that they simply no longer give way.
For lash lifts with the S-Pad, you should therefore plan a longer interval between two sessions. Instead of an interval of 4-6 weeks, choose a longer interval so that the muscle becomes flaccid again and the desired lifting result can be achieved.
Who would have thought that flabby muscles would be desirable? :)
