Use a quick-drying glue: A lash glue that dries quickly is crucial to ensure your fans keep their shape and don't fall apart. Make sure to choose a glue that is not too slow.

Use a base for practicing fans: Use a cosmetic sponge, paper towel or the back of your hand as a base to practice your lash fans. This will help you to improve your technique without damaging the natural lashes. Ensure good lighting: Adequate lighting is important to see fine details and work precisely. Magnifying glasses can also be helpful to improve your vision.

Practice specifically: Start with a clear task, e.g. creating 3D fans. Start by practicing closer-fitting compartments and then move on to more widely spaced ones.

Further tips:

Make sure you use the right amount of glue, especially with volume lashes, to avoid excess glue.
Before working on clients, make sure you are confident in fanning and can apply the correct amount of glue.
