How long does an eyelash lift last? A look at the facts
In eyelash lifting, we use mild and nourishing lotions to shape and lift the lashes right at the lash line. Our aim is to emphasize the natural curl of the lashes and give them a longer, fuller appearance.
The durability of an eyelash lift can vary depending on the individual growth cycle of the eyelashes. As a rule, however, the results of an eyelash lift can be expected to remain visible for around six to eight weeks.
Various factors can influence the durability of an eyelash lift:
- Eyelash growth cycle: the growth cycle of eyelashes varies from person to person. Some people have a faster growth cycle than others, which can cause the results of an eyelash lift to fade more quickly.
- Eyelash care: Proper eyelash care can help prolong the life of an eyelash lift. Use mild cleansers, our Lamination Conditioner and avoid products containing oil.
- Contact with water: In the first 24 to 48 hours after a lash lift, it is important to avoid contact with water as this can affect the results of the treatment. After this time, the lashes can be washed and cleaned as normal.
- Aftercare treatments: Some of your clients may opt for regular follow-up treatments to refresh the results of their eyelash lift and have permanently curled and voluminous lashes.
