The Art of Volume: Master the Perfect Fan
Why don’t my volume sets look as fluffy as I’d like, even though I’ve worked carefully? Even though I applied everything precisely and chose an attractive lash design?
“A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.” This principle also applies to eyelash extensions: “A volume set is only as impressive as its weakest fan.”
The secret to a beautiful, even, and fluffy result lies in the perfection of each individual fan. Whether you choose 3D, 4D, or another option—every fan must be perfectly crafted. The bases or adhesive necks must be neither too long nor too thick. Each cluster must be evenly fanned out, and the spacing between the individual lashes in the cluster must be identical. The alignment of the clusters should follow the previously determined design, and the lengths of the lashes must be adjusted to match the lash lines.
For beginners, we recommend first familiarizing yourself with 2D and/or 3D techniques before venturing into more complex volume options.
