Eyelash lift—no effect

🌟 Help! My eyelash lift went wrong! 😫

Hey, fellow eyelash stylists! Sometimes things don’t go smoothly, and that goes for our beloved eyelash lifts, too. Here are a few reasons why it might go wrong and what you can do to save it:

Eyelash structures vary: Some lashes are just stubborn and refuse to lift, no matter how hard we try. It’s like with straight hair—sometimes it just doesn’t work.

Processing times are important: Maybe the processing times were too short. If that’s the case, just try again with longer processing times.

Be careful when securing them: Make sure you secure your natural lashes firmly and tautly to the silicone pad. Otherwise, the results might be weak.

Don’t use too much adhesive: Less is sometimes more. Too much adhesive can prevent the lotion from working properly.

Check the lotions: Are your lotions still fresh? Do the straw test to make sure they’re still effective. Wrap a strand of hair around a straw and see if it can be reshaped with the lotions.

Beware of over-lifting: Too much of a good thing can backfire. If the lotion is left on too long, the lashes can be damaged and end up hanging flat. This can’t be easily corrected, and the lashes will have to grow back.
