Using the LUV System® for hair extensions differs significantly from traditional bonding or heat techniques. With LUV UV adhesive, you can work cleanly, precisely, and with virtually invisible results—all without heat or bonding agents.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preparation: Carefully section off your natural hair, then thoroughly degrease and clean the area.
- Preparing the extensions: Cut off the bonding points—you’ll be working with raw strands.
- Placement: Separate a thin strand of hair; place the extension directly on top. Brush it down to the roots using a special comb or a fine brush.
- Application: Apply a small amount of LUV UV adhesive evenly to the connection.
- Curing: Cure the bonded area with one of our LUV System® UV lamps (365–405 nm) for approximately 5–10 seconds.
- Check & Finish: Check the hold, then gently brush out for seamless, flexible bonds.
